Selected case notes from the bench. Details are kept general — clients' sites are their business, not my portfolio.
- Case note 01 — Neighbourhood café — Arrived: hand-coded menu pages, three fonts, one beloved misspelling of "croissant." Treatment: rebuilt as editable cards; spelling preserved by request. Outcome: owner updates the specials herself now.
Case note 02 — Professional practice
Arrived: aging template, 40+ pages, no meta descriptions. Treatment: pixel-matched rebuild, every SEO field written, old URLs redirected. Outcome: same look, full search coverage.
Case note 03 — Creative portfolio
Arrived: image-heavy gallery with tracking scripts of unknown origin. Treatment: images re-uploaded to Keel Media, scripts quarantined and left behind. Outcome: faster, cleaner, visually identical.
Case note 04 — Local services business
Arrived: site builder export with styles baked into every element. Treatment: styles lifted into one theme stylesheet, content moved into native parts. Outcome: zero inline styles, fully editable.
Success metric: the client opens the new site and asks, "Did you do anything?" Yes. Everything. Invisibly.
