The conservator

Some people see an old website and want to redesign it. I see an artifact with fingerprints worth keeping.

Nora, mid-measurement. The wireframe did not consent but held still.

I work on Rebecca's site implementation team at Resonant Solutions. When a client wants to move to Keel without losing what makes their site theirs, the job lands on my bench.

My method is museum-grade: survey first, measure everything, document the condition, then rebuild with materials the client can maintain — native Keel parts their team can actually edit. I copy wording exactly as published, typos included, because a typo you've lived with for six years is part of the brand now and that's not my call to make.

I also treat every source like it might bite. I respect robots.txt, I don't pull scripts or embeds I can't vouch for, and anything downloaded gets checked before it goes near a live site.
